We understand that it is no simple feat when our clients make the decision to have a permanent makeup treatment. That’s why we want to make sure we’re providing all the information we possibly can about our treatments from the get-go.
Here is the step-by-step process of what to expect during your Nano Brows appointment.
Step 1: Initial Consultation
At each initial appointment, a consultation is held to discuss which brow method might be best for your desired outcome and skin type. During your initial consultation, specific details about the process, including pigments, pre-care, post-care, etc., will be discussed. It is best that you come prepared with your brows styled with your daily makeup and bring some "brow inspo" screen shots from my Instagram or website.
Step 2: Take Before Pictures
Following your consultation, we’ll kick things off with a few before pictures. We want you to be able to see the full transformation once your appointment is finished.
Step 3: Map Brows
We’ll begin the brow mapping process to create an outline of what your brows should look like at the end of the treatment. This technique is used to help determine the ideal brow shape for you based on your unique facial features.
During this process, you will be able to make any necessary adjustments to the size, shape, and positioning of your new brows.
Step 4: Select a Pigment
We have a wide variety of pigment colors available. We’ll do our best to find a tone that matches your skin tone and the color of your brow hairs to give the most natural appearance and to blend in with what brow hair you currently have. We can also make recommendations if you let us know if you’d prefer a more natural vs. bold look.
Step 6: Nano Brows Treatment
Manual hair-like strokes will be drawn into your brows using a sterilized Nano Machine. The ultra-fine needle is meant to mimic the diameter and dimension of your natural brow hairs.
The entire process takes around two hour from start to finish. Don’t worry; the numbing agent is applied continuously throughout the process.
Step 7: Take After Pictures
We’ll take some after pictures so you can see the difference for yourself after the treatment has been completed.
Step 8: Discuss After-Care
You will be provided with an after-care kit to ensure that your brows heal properly. Your aftercare is a vital part of the process and can determine the outcome of your brows, so we’ll be sure to walk you through the process.
Step 9: Book Touchup Appointment
A touch-up appointment is recommended in 6 to 8 weeks after your initial Nano Brows treatment. This touchup will help us to ensure the skin is healing properly with the perfect shape and color. We'll book your touchup appointment at the end of your initial treatment.
Step 10: Enjoy!
That’s it! After just over an hour or so, you’ll be on your way to living your new and improved brow life. Most clients can go 1-3 years before their next touch up. I recommend waiting as long as possible, because the less trauma that we cause to the skin, the better!
